The USGBC Massachusetts Membership Forum
Who Is The Forum?
In mid 2007, The Green Roundtable supported the formation of the The USGBC Massachusetts Membership Forum (The Forum) which is the mechanism for the green building community to lead, engage and participate in green building activities locally.
The Forum, over 1000 members strong, is a member based community volunteer group, responsible for providing opportunities for individuals to participate in US Green Building Council (USGBC) and other green building educational, technical and advocacy activities while networking with other industry professionals and lay people. The Forum will be administered by The Green Roundtable which is the Massachusetts Affiliate to the USGBC, and the groups will collaborate in order to carry out transformative programming across the state.
Mission
The Forum’s mission is to promote the design, construction, and operation of sustainable buildings and communities in Massachusetts through education, mutual support, and advocacy, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.

Leadership
Leaders of the Forum have recently expanded community based programming efforts and are looking for committed volunteers interested in helping to design and carry out green building efforts across Massachusetts. We are fortunate to have a well established green community, but there is a lot more to be done. Your help is desired!
The Forum has initiated interest-area sub-committees to facilitate community involvement and green building program activities. Please learn more about each committee’s mission and what activities each committee is engaging in through the committee links to the left.
Events
The Forum is committed to providing the community with innovative and timely green building and sustainable development education, networking events and fun gatherings. The volunteer committees of the Forum have been extremely successful this past year delivering high quality events and there are some great programs planned for the second half of the year.
