Active Projects
Monthly green building stories and content – Love learning about state of the art green building projects being built and certified in our community? Are you interested in doing interviews of high profile individuals and projects and/or seek stories from design and building professionals in Massachusetts? Then we need you to help with the Sustainable Building community monthly newsletter. Expected time commitment – two to four hours per month.
Monthly advocacy & policy content – Connected to what’s happening on the Hill? Do you keep on top of energy, climate and green design legislation in DC? If so, we need you to help us keep the community informed about what policy efforts are going on in the federal, state and local levels. Expected time commitment – two hours per month.
LEED User Group (LUG) – Calling folks from Western, Central, Cape & Islands and North Shore. Once a month, LEED users gather informally to share experiences, lessons learned and tips about the various LEED Rating Systems. Topics range from LEED and historic renovation to challenges of commissioning. We are looking for motivated volunteers in areas outside of Boston to join the BLUG planning team. The volunteers will help organize, market and administer the monthly BLUG. Responsibility is split between the group and you do whatever you can committ to.
