The Green Roundtable (GRT) is the Massachusetts Affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). In mid 2007 the GRT supported the formation of the Massachusetts Membership Forum (The Forum) which is the mechanism for USGBC members to lead, engage and participate in green building activities locally.
The Forum, over 900 members strong, is a member based community volunteer group, responsible for providing opportunities for individuals to participate in green building educational, technical and advocacy activities while networking with other industry professionals and lay people. The Forum will collaborate with the Green Roundtable to carry out affiliate activities across the sate.
Leaders of the Forum have recently expanded community based programming efforts and are looking for committed volunteers interested in helping to design and carry out green building efforts across Massachusetts. We are fortunate to have a well established green community, but there is a lot more to be done. Your help is desired!
The Forum has initiated interest-area sub-committees to facilitate community involvement and green building program activities. Please learn more about what each committee's mission is and what activities each committee is engaging in through the committee links to the left. If interested, please follow up with the committee contact to be included on the mailing list and get involved in leadership and planning efforts today!

• The first annual Membership Forum Earth Day Party was a success!
Around 80 people joined the Leadership Council at the NEXUS Resource Center to reconnect with friends, learn about what the Forum volunteers have been working on, and enjoy good food, drink and music. The Innovation in Green Design Award was well received and a total of nine very well put together entries were submitted. The projects and initiatives were praised for their unique design qualities, however, Arrowstreet architects took the winning award for the Artist For Humanity Epicenter.
The Forum extends a gracious thank you to the organizations that supported the event and helped make it possible.
